Holding Ourselves Back
Sometimes (most of the time) we’re the ones holding ourselves back.
Not our lack of visibility, genius, or passion.
US.
We internally and externally sabotage our progress and goals because it’s actually easier to do that than believe in ourselves.
WHA?
It’s easier to believe that maybe “this life” just isn’t for us and we’ll have to settle for mediocre, like everyone else. (It’s just not in the cards…)
It’s easier to believe that we’ll never be good enough to get the attention we deserve.
It’s easier to accept the status quo and go on the path laid out before you.
But let me remind you, that you CHOSE to become an Artist.
The path of an Artist is probably the most difficult one out there…
So why? Why did you choose this from the get-go?
Because you know there is no alternative.
Even when we hold ourselves back, get in our own way, take a breather for a second…
This path is the one we MUST choose because our heart knows no other way.
So how do we get around the self-punishment we deem ourselves far too often?
We surround ourselves with other Artists, safe Artists, who can build us up and light the path when the dark takes over.
We don’t have to do this all on our own.
It’s time to put yourself in the room and allow yourself to be worthy of connection.
