Your Art is Sacred.
Your Art is Sacred.
Have you ever noticed that when you’re forced to create,
You no longer wish to?
Ie.) You strive to do your Art full-time,
And when you accomplish that huge milestone,
You watch yourself slowly disconnect from your art.
You don’t want to do it full time.
You drift from what it once meant to you.
You create less —
& get frustrated more.
WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?
Because we forget our Art is sacred.
Our Art allows us to:
Release,
Grow,
Learn,
Pause,
Teach,
IF we give it the space it needs to develop.
The creation process is a delicate balance of actively creating, and actively listening/experiencing/playing.
Take out one of those - we throw off the balance.
We start to “do” — and not “create.”
Our Art
Becomes a Job.
We have to go back
To making our Art Sacred —
Just for us.
And then we’ll start to feel the balance of creation enter our bones again.
Because this was never about anyone else,
It was always about you.
